Club was formed in 1974.
2009-2010 membership approximately 65 members.
Own 1200 sq.ft. clubhouse and a 1232 sq.ft. equipment storage building on 1 acre of land.
Clubhouse is located on route 2 just 4 miles east of downtown Skowhegan.
Club owns two large groomers:
1997 Sno-Cat T1000 - 110 hp diesel with 7.5 ft mogul master drag. (Southside)
1995 Sno-Cat T1000 - 110 hp diesel with 8.5 ft mogul master drag. (Northside and Intown)
Club Maintains 36 miles of trail in Skowhegan and approx. 20 miles in the notch area.
The Sno-Hawks acquire permissions from more than 125 landowners for trail use.
Built and maintain 15 bridges to enable winter water crossings.

progressive supper

The club ride for this week end SATURDAY 02/20/10 has been canceled due to the lack of SNOW, We will try to plan an other ride in MARCH if the snow decides to come back again. PRES. GEORGE WACOME.

Trail Conditions

SKOWHEGAN trails are bare at this time, We missing the last 4 snow storms we needed badly after the rain back in January. I believe you would have to travel up to THE FORKS. to find some riding noth if you are traveling up RT. 201 North of Skowhegan. The ITS 87 trail is scarce on snow in our area. We will keep you posted when the weather changes for our are.TRAIL MASTER/GEORGE W.02/17/10
