About Us

  • Club was formed in 1974. 
  • 2011-2012 membership approximately 65 members.
  • Own 1200 sq.ft. clubhouse and a 1232 sq.ft. equipment storage building on 1 acre of land.
  • Clubhouse is located on route 2 just 4 miles east of downtown Skowhegan.
  • Club owns two large groomers:
  • 1997 Sno-Cat T1000 - 110 hp diesel with 7.5 ft mogul master drag. (Southside)
  • 1995 Sno-Cat T1000 - 110 hp diesel with 8.5 ft mogul master drag. (Northside and Intown)
  • Club Maintains 36 miles of trail in Skowhegan and approx. 20 miles in the notch area.
  • The Sno-Hawks acquire permissions from more than 125 landowners for trail use.
  • Maintain 16 bridges to enable winter water crossings.
